How quickly does it warm up?

Most of our heaters and warmers give noticeable heat within one to two minutes. Exact times are listed in the product description.

Is it safe to leave running?

Our heaters are designed with safety features such as overheat protection, and many also have tip-over protection — check the product description for the exact features. Never cover a heater and always follow the instructions.

Will it work with UK plugs and car sockets?

Both hands free, path fully lit

Dark mornings and early evenings make a head torch one of the most useful things you can own, whether you walk the dog, run before work, camp or just need to see under the sink. This one is seriously bright, with eight modes including red light for night vision, and runs on a built-in 1500 mAh rechargeable battery that charges over USB and lasts four to ten hours. Wave your hand in front of the motion sensor to switch it on or off with mucky hands, and hold the button for three seconds to turn it off from any mode. The head tilts 60 degrees, the band adjusts to fit adults and kids, and at about 53 g you forget it is there.

Why you'll love it

Rechargeable: Built-in 1500 mAh battery, charges over USB and works while charging.
Motion sensor: Wave to switch on or off, handy when your hands are dirty or gloved.
Eight modes: Including red light for night vision; a long press turns it off from any mode.
Waterproof and light: IPX4 rated for rain and snow, around 53 g with a 60 degree tilting head.
Fits everyone: Comfortable elastic band adjusts for adults and children; sold in packs.

Perfect for: dog walks on winter evenings, camping and hiking, running in the dark, DIY and power cuts
